We ship worldwide!
What shipping methods do you offer?
Shipments within Canada are shipped using Canada Post from Vancouver, BC.
Shipments to the United States are shipped via USPS. We work closely with a courier to transport our items to the United States which equals faster shipping for our US customers and without the worries of duties.
Shipments outside of Canada and the United States are shipped using Canada Post from Vancouver, BC.
How quickly will my order ship?
Orders ship within 3 business days of receiving payment.
Will my order have Duties or Taxes related to shipping?
Shipments outside Canada and the United States may be subject to duties, taxes or import charges, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. For more information, please contact your local customs office.
Will I be charged tax?
Taxes will be applied to orders within Canada, according to the province where your shipping address is located. Orders to the USA and international orders outside of North America are not taxed, and orders to the EU for physical products are not taxed.
There are now taxes on digital products only to customers in the EU. A new law went into effect January 1, 2015 that requires sellers of digital products worldwide to collect taxes on sales to the EU. This law uses the purchaser's country to calculate the rate of tax, rather than the seller's country. We use the VAT rate in the country you purchase from to calculate the sales tax on your order. When will by order arrive?
Orders to the Canada and the United States will arrive within 14 days of shipment.
International orders can take 10 to 30 days to arrive.

Log in to your account, and on the left column, look for 'View Order Status.' That will bring up a list of your orders and tell you their current status.
Do I have to create an account?
Yes, that's the only way to be able to check on your orders and most importantly, access downloadable files forever. Your account information is kept private and will not be shared or used for any purpose other than shipping your order, and contacting you if necessary.
My order is Awaiting Fulfillment. What does that mean?
This means we have received your order information and payment, but it hasn't been shipped yet.
Can I change my order?
In order to provide quick and efficient shipping service, all orders are considered final once placed.

Is my account information safe?
Sewaholic Patterns will never share, rent or sell any of your personal information. Your phone number, address and email address is private and will never be used for any purpose other than contacting you about your order and shipping your patterns.

Where can I find information on sizing?
Here's a link to the Sizing and Size chart page. Size information and finished garment measurements are also printed on the back of each pattern envelope and linked within each pattern description.
What cup size are your patterns designed for?
Sewaholic Patterns are drafted for a B cup.
I lost a pattern piece. Will you send me a new one?
Sorry, we can't send replacement pattern pieces for our printed patterns. We suggest purchasing PDF sewing patterns instead, that way you can simply print a new piece if you lose one. Our PDF patterns never expire and remain in your account forever.
Can I sell garments made from Sewaholic Patterns?
Sewaholic Patterns are for personal home use only, not for commercial sale.
Where can I find a list of pattern corrections?
Our pattern corrections are listed in the description of each individual pattern page. We do our best to ensure patterns are printed error free, but we have missed errors. If you think you've found an error, please contact us.
PDF PATTERNS
Do you offer downloadable patterns in PDF format?
Yes! All of our pattern collection is available in both printed paper patterns as well as downloadable, print-at-home PDFs.
Great! How do PDF patterns work?
PDF patterns are instantly downloadable as soon as you complete the checkout process. The pattern is divided into multiple files for the print-at-home pattern pieces, copy shop pattern pieces, instructions, cutting layouts and envelope information. Select and print only what you need.
The print-at-home pattern is printable on Letter or A4 format paper. The pattern pieces will need to be assembled in tiles, a guide is provided on how to assemble the pattern and which pieces to print for each view.

How quickly will I get my pattern?
Instantly! As soon as you complete checkout, you’ll get a link to download the pattern. A link will also be emailed to you in your order confirmation, and the pattern will always be there in your account, under Completed Orders.
What if I didn't receive the email with the link to download the pattern?
First, sometimes our payment confirmation emails end up in your email's SPAM folder, so be sure to check there too!
If you're still not seeing the email, follow the steps below to access your PDF pattern:
1. Log into your Sewaholic Patterns account
2. After logging in, on the left hand side select ORDERS.
3. Next, select the receipt for the invoice in which you purchased the pattern. To do so, click ORDER #YOUR ORDER NUMBER from the list of invoices.
4. Scroll down to view the invoice details, and over the photo of the PDF pattern, click the PINK ARROW pointing downwards to access the PDF file.
How do I print my pattern? What size paper do I need? Can I print it at a copy shop?
The print-at-home pattern is printable on Letter or A4 format paper. The pattern pieces will need to be assembled in tiles, a guide is provided within the pattern on how to assemble the pattern and which pieces to print for each view.
The great part about our PDF patterns is the helpful guide indicating which pieces you need for each view. Only print the pages you need, for the view you plan to make. Saves paper, ink & time, and it’s kinder to the planet!
Very Important: When you print, make sure you have the printer settings set to ‘Actual Size’ or 'Print at 100%' and not ‘Fit to page’ or 'Shrink to fit.' There is a Test Square provided on page one to check that the dimensions are correct. You may want to print page 1 only to ensure it’s printing at the right scale, before printing the entire pattern!
Copy Shop Version:
All patterns also include a 36" wide format file options to print at a copy shop. All patterns include both print-at-home tiled pattern pieces as well as the wide-format option. We offer no guarantee that all copy shops worldwide will be able to print the pattern.
How do I assemble my PDF pattern?
Follow the included guide to assembling the pattern. There are circles to match on each piece, simply cut off the border and match the circles to assemble the pattern pieces. Check out our tips on assembling PDF Patterns on the Sewaholic blog!
Where do I find the PDF file in my account?
Your PDF patterns will be saved forever in your account under ‘Orders.’
How many times can I download the file?
As many times as you want! Your PDF file will be stored in your account forever and you can download and print it as many times as you need to.

Help! I ordered a PDF pattern but I really wanted the print version.
All PDF patterns are final sale. Due to the nature of digital goods, and the fact that you receive access to the files immediately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on PDF patterns. Please check your order carefully when shopping, and make sure you have selected the correct pattern format.
Anything else to know about PDF patterns?
All PDF patterns are final sale. No refunds will be processed on downloadable products. Please do not share or distribute our PDF patterns.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes! Give the gift of sewing to loved ones and sewing friends. Gift certificates can be emailed to the recipient and redeemed online any time. Buy a gift certificate today.
How do I use my gift certificate?
Simply enter your gift certificate code directly into your order at checkout. Enter the reference number into the "Redeem Gift Certificate” field, click "Go" and your gift certificate will be automatically credited against your order. If this doesn't work for any reason, contact us, and we'll help fix it!
Does my gift certificate expire?
No, gift certificates never expire and can be used any time after purchase.
What happens if I don't use the entire gift certificate in one purchase, or if it's not enough to purchase the items I want?
If you don't use the full amount of the gift certificate in your first order, the remaining credit will be added to your Sewaholic Patterns account and applied automatically to your next order.
If the total cost of your order is more than the value of your gift certificate, then you'll be directed to our payment page, where you will be able to pay the remainder of the cost.
